Josh Baxter, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Orthopeadic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. His research aims to improve rehabilitation strategies to accelerate healing and restore function following injury and orthopaedic surgery. Josh's primary research aims to optimize function following tendon injuries by leveraging large patient cohorts and translational animal models. He uses wearable sensors to continously monitor patient activity in and out of the clinic to develop evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.
